To test a battery,grasp and slide the battery tester out of the unit.When testing a battery make sure that

the battery polarity is aligned properly with the appropriate port.Battery power is indicated by the below lighting combinations

Note:

A fully charged 1.2V rechargeable battery will only light the RED and YELLOW LEDs.This is normal.

Make sure the battery polarity is correct when testing the battery.Otherwise,a "no light" will appear giving a false reading.

Do not test batteries with voltage higher than the port capacity otherwise the device will be damaged.
